Citizen Salons
City Club of Portland Citizen Salons are back for another year! Named by Portland Monthly as the city’s “best intellectual salon,” Citizen Salons bring together members’ love of good food and great conversation in intimate settings, while at the same time supporting the vital mission of City Club. This season of Salons contains food, wine, politics, architecture, music, bicycling and more! A few Salons are still under construction at the time of publication, but we will be adding them soon. Don’t wait to buy your tickets; last year’s Salons sold out quite often (see Ticket information and Pricing below.)

How to acquire tickets:
Click on the “Make your reservation here!” link at the bottom of each Citizen Salon page on our website. This uses the same encrypted ticketing system that we use for the Friday Forums. Alternatively, you can call 503.228.7231 x104 and leave a detailed message including your payment information.
Ticket information and Pricing:
Member tickets: $75.00. Non-member tickets: $90.00. There is a special rate for the New Leaders Council Salon “Stumptown Rocks”: $35 for all tickets.
Payment must be made at the time of reservation. All tickets are available on a first-come first-serve basis. If a Salon sells out we will keep a waiting list. Preference will be given to waitlisted City Club members in the order that the request was received if tickets become available after a Salon has sold out. Sales close one week before the date of the Salon unless otherwise noted: tickets are non-refundable after that time unless we are able to sell your ticket to someone else.
Tax-deductibility:
A portion of the regular ticket price is tax-deductible as a charitable donation to City Club (the special rate for the Stumptown Rocks Salon is not tax-deductible. ) The deductible portion of your regular ticket is as follows: $30 for each $75 member ticket, and $50 for each $90 non-member ticket.
What to expect next:
If you purchase your ticket online, you will receive an electronic receipt within 5 minutes. If you do not, please contact jen@pdxcityclub.org or 503.228.7231 x104 to verify that your purchase was completed and tickets reserved. City Club will send all ticketbuyers an additional receipt via USPS. You will also receive detailed information regarding location, and will be notified of any changes in time or venue.
