Hot Times, Summer in the City

Friday Forums may be vacationing during late summer, but Portland's music, food, arts and film scenes couldn't be more alive! On July 27, Barbara Steinfeld of Travel Portland will lead panelists and  participants through a cultural tour of Portland's summer activities. Panelists will discuss how their areas of expertise - film, food, music and art - enrich the cultural life of our city, and the role this plays in bringing Portland's vaunted "creative culture" to life. 

Take a verbal tour through the Pickathon Roots Music Festival (Aug. 3-5) , the NW Film Center's Top Down Rooftop Cinema series (through Aug. 30), PICA's Time-Based Art Festival (Sept. 6-16), and Feast Portland (Sept. 20-23) - and then experience the real events this summer!
