Membership Committee

The Membership Committee works to meet the Club's objective to be a vibrant force in the civic life of Portland and the region.  The committee focuses on recruiting and retaining members with outreach and communication strategies that are influenced by the results of on-going data collection.  

This group leads a variety of outreach efforts including:

• welcoming new members and helping them find a home at City Club
• contacting members personally throughout the year
• hosting new member welcome and additional networking events
• organizing the spring membership drive (January / February)

The membership committee welcomes any member with energy and commitment. Participation on this committee is a great volunteer / professional development experience for members who have interest and/or expertise in grass roots leadership, public relations, communications and organizing events.
