A Premier Issue Event

Join City Club for an evening of hard hitting discussion aimed at challenging the way that public safety is currently delivered and reprioritizing Oregon’s public safety budgeting practices.

Moderator: Former Portland Mayor Bud Clark

Panelists:

  • Michael Reese, Chief of Police, Portland Police Bureau
  • Rod Underhill,  Multnomah County Deputy District Attorney, lead prosecutor in Kyron Horman case
  • Representative Matt Wand (District 49), sponsor House Bill 3811, making economic development lottery funds transparent

Increasing costs and decreasing revenues have resulted in cuts to traditional public safety services across Oregon. On May 18th, panelists and audience members will work together to question the status quo and find answers that could help guide the changing landscape of public safety service delivery across Oregon communities. This will not be a business as usual discussion!

Former Portland Mayor Bud Clark will moderate what is sure to be a forward looking, exploratory and energetic conversation. Come and challenge our experts with your questions and be part of the keeping Oregon safe with your ideas.
