The Annual Fund is a critical funding source that provides about 25% of our operating budget. Without it, membership dues would increase, and it would be difficult for many people to join the Club. Member diversity is extremely important – a diverse member base makes the Club stronger, connecting it with the wide range of issues that affect our community.
As last year’s President Elect, it was my job to invite you to join the cadre of Annual Fund Donors. I am grateful and honored that 275 members and friends, responded with generosity.
As I transition to the role of President for the 2012-13 fiscal year, I welcome your feedback as we continue working toward our strategic goals. In addition, please remember that there are many ways to participate in City Club programs and activities. I hope that you are finding time to be involved.
