Join City Club's New Leaders Council for a tour of Portland's own Street Roots Publication. Come see the publication facilities, hear about distribution, and learn about the advocacy Street Roots does for Portland's low-income population. Street Roots — published biweekly in Portland, Oregon — has been Portland's flagship publication addressing homelessness and poverty since 1998, and provides income opportunities for people experiencing poverty and homelessness.
This is a unique opportunity to experience Portland's publication by and for one of the city's most "invisible" populations.
