The November 5th election is just around the corner, and City Club of Portland is here to help you get informed on the local candidates, key issues, and how to vote in Portland’s new system. Whether it’s understanding ranked choice voting or getting to know the candidates and their platforms, we’ve got you covered with all the resources you need to make an informed decision.

Our comprehensive election coverage includes:

Candidate Forums

These nonpartisan forums will feature leading candidates running for Multnomah County Commissioner in Districts 1 and 2, as well as the City of Portland Mayor. They will be moderated discussions where community members’ questions are posed to the candidates. The forums are free, open to the public, and will also be available to watch on our YouTube channel after the events.

Learn more about the forums here.

Candidate Questionnaire

We are developing a detailed questionnaire for candidates running for Portland’s mayor, council, and auditor positions. With your input, this questionnaire will address the key issues that matter most to our community.

Ranked Choice Voting Education

To help you understand how ranked choice voting works in Portland for electing 12 councilors, the mayor, and the auditor, we hosted an educational workshop that is now available online.
