Mayor Keith Wilson was elected in November 2024 and officially began his term in January 2025, becoming Portland’s first mayor under the city’s new form of government. His campaign centered on a bold commitment to end unsheltered homelessness within a year by expanding shelter capacity and strengthening partnerships with Multnomah County. In addition to addressing homelessness, Mayor Wilson aims to make Portland a great place to live, work, and visit.
In his first State of the City address, Mayor Wilson will provide an update on progress in these focus areas and his vision for additional priorities including public safety, economic recovery and downtown revitalization, and climate justice.
After his remarks, he’ll sit down with JT Flowers for a one-on-one conversation that dives deeper into these themes and includes a few audience-submitted questions.
