About Election Events

We provide a platform for candidates and issue advocates to present their visions and engage with the community through debates and forums. Our events are designed to offer balanced opportunities for representatives of various parties and perspectives to share their viewpoints and participate in meaningful discussions.
Each event for an election or ballot measure will feature at least two speakers. Invitations will be based on campaign visibility, voter support (including campaign contributors and organizational endorsements), breadth of media coverage, and other relevant factors. To keep our events engaging and manageable, we can’t include every candidate or hold an event for every election or measure. We aim to make the best use of the time available for both candidates and the audience.
If you have any questions or thoughts about our election events or how we choose participants, contact us at info@pdxcityclub.org.
