Rx for Central City Livability In-Person Panels and Work Sessions

Rx for Central City Livability is a free, in-person program series hosted by City Club of Portland’s Built Environment Issue Committee. This series will feature expert panels (March–May) and interactive workshops (June–July), exploring how Portland’s built environment can support a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable downtown and inner Eastside.

City Club recently hosted a four-program series, Meet Your New City Councilors! The free in-person events were held at venues within each district and featured moderated conversations, led by Sophie Peel, and informal social time with the Councilors. All programs were recorded and are available to watch online for free.

“A Look Back on the 2024 Elections” Panel with Oregon Political Operatives

City Club recently hosted a panel discussion on the 2024 elections. Political ops from both sides of the aisle discussed Portland’s new, more diverse City Council, the Congressional race that elected Oregon’s first Black Congresswoman, and how Democrat and Republican wins differed at the local, state, and federal levels.
