In June, we hosted a fireside chat with Ellen Rosenblum, Oregon’s outgoing Attorney General, as she reflected on her twelve-year tenure and shared insights into the critical work of the Attorney General’s office. From standing up to powerful interests to safeguarding the rights of Oregonians, Rosenblum was at the forefront of legal battles that shaped the state’s landscape.

She was joined by Kerry Tymchuk, executive director of the Oregon Historical Society. They discussed the evolving role of the Attorney General, both locally and nationally. From navigating complex legal challenges to advocating for justice, Rosenblum offered her perspective on what lay ahead and the essential qualities needed in Oregon’s next Attorney General.
