About the Event

City Club’s New Leaders Council (NLC) and Health & Public Safety Committee invite you to a free, in-person happy hour to connect with other community members concerned about health care access and affordability.

Enjoy open networking and facilitated discussion, and hear from Dr. John Kitzhaber, former governor of Oregon and author of the Oregon Health Plan, as he shares lessons from his work at the intersection of policy and politics.

This event builds on the momentum for positive change in Oregon’s health care system sparked by the Health Care Access Crisis programs in February and March. Those conversations were recorded and are available to watch anytime on City Club’s YouTube channel.

No matter your level of experience with health care issues, you’ll leave better equipped to help make a difference.
