FALL 2026 ELECTION EVENT SERIES
As a nonpartisan, member-led civic engagement organization, City Club of Portland believes an informed electorate makes better decisions. That’s the spirit behind our Fall 2026 Election Series that includes six free public events designed to help voters understand what’s on the ballot and hear directly from the people asking for their votes.
2026 Spring Membership Drive
During our Spring Membership Drive, now through Sunday, June 21, 2026, join as an annual member and receive 14 months of membership for the price of 12. As we gear up for a busy fall election season, with ballot measure studies and candidate events already scheduled, now is the time to become a member.
Nominating Committee Announces Candidates for 2026 Board Election
There’s an election coming up—and not just the May 19 primary. Mark your calendar for City Club’s 2026 Board Election, following our Annual Meeting on May 28. We’re Hiring: Membership & Development Coordinator
City Club of Portland is seeking a full-time Membership & Development Coordinator to support the its member-led membership and fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate has strong people skills, a passion for civic engagement, and an enthusiasm for member/donor relations, and is accustomed to working in an environment that requires wearing multiple hats.
Join the Ross Island Advocacy Committee
Join us in advocating for the Ross Island Report recommendations to policymakers. The report was approved by over 96% of members who voted. With that overwhelming support, City Club is forming an Advocacy Committee. Only members may serve on advocacy committees. Become a member during the Spring Membership Drive, and you’ll get 14 months for the price of 12.
Friday Forum: Oregon and Portland Metro Economies
Join City Club to hear State Economist Carl Riccadonna and Multnomah County Economist Jeff Renfro discuss the local economy and its impact on business, government, and community life. Their presentations will cover the job market, layoffs, revenue forecasts, real estate trends, declining property values, and federal policy effects. The program will end with ample time for audience members to ask questions of both presenters.
