What are issue committees?
Issue committees are groups of City Club members that gather to connect, share information, and explore a topic of mutual interest. They drive the creation of diverse events, including talks, gatherings, panels, tours, tastings, and outings that are open to both members and the public.
Membership and participation
Participation in Issue Committees is inclusive and flexible. While coordinated by a steering committee, the membership structure remains informal, allowing any City Club member to seamlessly join one or more committees. Non-members are welcome to attend Issue Committee meetings and events.
Current Committees
Issue Committees are back at City Club, starting with three based on top interests identified from a recent member survey. To propose a new one, please contact info@pdxcityclub.org.
