City Club of Portland’s Health & Public Safety Committee presents “It Takes a Village: Improving Mental Health Care Access” on Wednesday, January 28 from 6:30 to 8:00pm (Doors open at 6:00pm) at Kells Irish Restaurant (112 SW 2nd Ave., Portland).
This program is in-person only and won’t be available online, so we hope to see you at Kells!
About the Program
Many Oregonians want to help address homelessness, but the complex landscape of organizations, policies, and solutions is a major barrier to knowing where to start.
The “It Takes a Village” event series connects attendees to local organizations focused on reducing homelessness, while exploring perspectives on what’s working and what’s not.
At the next event, meet Julie Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer at New Narrative, and Mental Health Therapist Sandra Grass. Together, they will discuss ways to improve mental health service delivery to our most vulnerable neighbors, drawing on Julie’s leadership in Portland’s mental health system and Sandra’s experience with successful practices in other cities and states.
