About the Program
A strong economy isn’t just in the interest of business—it’s in the interest of anyone who values the community amenities, infrastructure, programs, and services that make a place a great place to live. Join City Club to learn from State Economist Carl Riccadonna and Multnomah County Economist Jeff Renfro about the state of the local economy and what it means for business, government, and community life. Their presentations will cover topics such as: the job market, corporate and public sector layoffs, the state’s revenue forecast, downtown Portland real estate trends, declining property values, and the impact of federal policy and tariffs. The program will end with ample time for audience members to ask questions of both presenters.
