Portland’s first City Administrator, Michael Jordan, who retired at the end of 2025, joined City Club on January 9 to reflect on his time in the City’s top administrative management role. In a conversation moderated by Willamette Week reporter Sophie Peel, Jordan discussed the City’s transition to a new form of government under recent Charter changes and addressed a central question: Is the new government ready to deliver for Portlanders?
